Meet Sajad Shaker: Why I Built Shax HVAC

Every company has a story, but at Shax HVAC, it’s personal. Growing up in the HVAC industry, I spent my childhood learning the trade from my father—hands-on, on-site, and grounded in a commitment to quality. That foundation shaped the vision for Shax HVAC: a company that blends traditional craftsmanship with modern innovation to deliver exceptional service. Here’s how my journey inspired Shax HVAC and why I believe every property deserves the very best in HVAC care.

If you’ve ever wondered why I started Shax HVAC, it all goes back to my roots. Growing up, my father was an HVAC technician, and some of my earliest memories are of tagging along with him on job sites. While other kids were playing with toy trucks, I was learning how fan coils worked and how to troubleshoot a noisy heat pump.

By the time I was a teenager, I was already hands-on with complex repairs and installations. But it wasn’t just the technical side of things that stuck with me—it was the way my father approached his work. Every client mattered. Every detail was important. And that’s a philosophy I’ve carried with me ever since.

Blending the Old and the New

While I loved HVAC work, I was also curious about other fields. I pursued a degree in Information Technology and spent a few years working in the corporate world. It was an incredible experience that taught me a lot, but something was missing. I craved the hands-on problem-solving that HVAC work brought and the personal connection with clients.

So, I came back to my roots. But this time, I brought something new to the table. I wanted to combine the craftsmanship I learned from my father with modern technology to create an HVAC company that could serve clients better, faster, and with more transparency.

What Shax HVAC Stands For

When I launched Shax HVAC, my vision was simple: to create a company that homeowners and property managers could trust completely. To me, that meant doing things differently. I wanted to build a company that was rooted in values I personally believe in as well.

At the heart of Shax HVAC is the same commitment to quality and integrity that my father instilled in me.

Why Education Matters to Me

One thing I’ve always prioritized is education—not just for myself and my team, but for our clients. HVAC systems can feel overwhelming, and I’ve met so many homeowners and property managers who just want to know how to make the best decisions for their buildings.

That’s why I make it a point to clarify how HVAC systems work. Whether I’m explaining the benefits of regular maintenance or walking a client through the workings of a heat pump, I want my clients to feel confident and empowered.

I believe trust starts with knowledge. When you understand what’s happening with your system, it’s easier to trust the solutions we recommend.

Looking to the Future

Shax HVAC has come a long way since those early days, and I’m proud of what we’ve built. But I’m not stopping here. My goal is to keep evolving—bringing in more sustainable practices, staying ahead of industry innovations, and continuing to provide the best possible service to our clients.

At the end of the day, HVAC isn’t just about heating and cooling. It’s about creating comfortable spaces where people can thrive. And for me, there’s nothing more rewarding than being a part of that.
